But when we buy what we need and what we really want, this feels cannot be compared with anything else. Make shopping — is always a pleasant pastime, especially when you know exactly what you need, and where you can buy it. Most shops in Berlin usually work from 10:00 to 20:00, from Monday to Saturday. Many shops are closed on Sundays. In Germany, the sell time is divided into 2 periods. Winter sales (Winterschlussverkauf) last from December to February. Summer sales (Sommerschlussverkauf) last from June to August. The sale period in Germany starts from 30% and to the end of the sale period reaches 90%.

As a souvenir, and pleasant memories about your trip, you may buy in Berlin different kind of magnets, bags, figurines, T-shirts and scarves with the picture and symbolism of the city, the bear as a symbol of Berlin, beer mugs, and traditional German beer «Pilsner», «Altbier», «Bockbier», «Zwickelbier», and in addition to this perfect purchase will fit traditional German sausages, the famous German liquor  «Jägermeister». For those who like original things will suit perfect a German doll  "Wolpertinger", which will amuse you and your guests with its unusual appearance. This fantastic character has a body of an owl, a head of a rabbit, a nose of a heron and paws of a goose. People believe that this mystical character lives in the Bavarian Alps. For the real connoisseur of art and beautiful things we advise you to buy different handmade articles from porcelain company "Meissen" a truly German quality, Europe's first porcelain factory, founded in 1710. The Germans call it «white gold», because for its price, you should be ready to pay a pretty penny for such gift. You may buy it in specialized boutiques or in stores with brand name «Meissen».
