Interesting places in Lapland.
If
you go to Lapland you will have a great opportunity to go to the Reindeer Farm
and ride by reindeer sleigh. A bus tour to reindeer farm is
a perfect pass time.
Visit
the Arctic Ranua Wildlife Park, where you will find a small
castle near the entry of the Ranua Zoo, with souvenir shop, shop selling berry
wines and liqueurs of local manufacture and shop with the most famous chocolate
factory FAZER in Finland.
Dine
in the Ice Restaurant. You will see the whole
country from snow and ice. Snow restaurant, where everything are made of ice
(chairs, bar, lamps, fireplace and even some of the dishes) is worth for
visiting. Here you may taste delicious hot dinner and drinks.
Trolls show. This entertainment program includes a journey through the snow-covered forest where you can visit the forest trolls. Also you will meet with the forest-dwellers near the fire, where you may enjoy the entertainment program, games for children and sledging.
Evening with shamans. If you want to plunge into the culture of hospitable Lappish people, you
may order bus trip to the Sami shamans
on the Lake Immeljarvi. Here you will find a warm welcome from locals, where
you may taste hot dinner in the Lappish style, listen to the Lappish music, shamans’
songs and watch their traditional dances.
